WORD TO THE WISE. To avoid getting nails in your tires, Never drive Off the path of where tires of other cars do not commonly roll. For example, when taking a left turn in the united states, do not get in the median no sooner than necessary & don't drive in the median OR emergency lane no more than necessary. Don't drive up close to a house or buildings with a roof, especially on grass bc there could be Roofing Nails. Be mindful of where your tires are going, to avoid nails. Those portable air pumps that plug into your cigarette lighter will kill your battery, so crank up your vehicle when using them to air up your tires. They also have a tendency to blow a fuse in your vehicle. A better option is to just carry a bicycle tire pump, takes a few minutes & some elbow grease to air up your car tire. But well worth avoiding the hassle caused by the mechanical air pump, plus save fuel cost by not having to run your engine.
